It has been an honor to serve our community, and I am excited to continue that work as your County Supervisor for District 2. Public safety will be my top priority, building on my proven record as a Bakersfield City Councilmember and a Law Enforcement Officer.

As Vice Mayor of Bakersfield, I lead efforts to allocate resources for adding 100 officers to our streets, demonstrating my unwavering commitment to public safety. I also advocated for implementing ShotSpotter technology as chairperson of the Safe Neighborhoods Committee, which has significantly reduced gang-related shootings and made our neighborhoods safer. 

In addition to public safety, I have focused on creating jobs and improving infrastructure. During my time as a Councilmember, major road improvements were completed in District 2, including comprehensive resurfacing and street sealing projects. Furthermore, I delivered major infrastructure projects like the Hosking Road and Highway 99 interchange. During my time as a Special Agent with the State Department of Justice, I learned an important lesson: hard work and diligence gets the job done.
